Enzo's is run by Marco Edge. After running the ever popular "Marco's Fish and Chips" on Caldon Road, Marco went on to buy the shop three years ago from his father Peter. History doesn't stop there. Marco's grandfather on his mother’s side came to Scotland from a tiny village in Italy nearly 100 years ago! One, Ferdinando Corrieri started in business with a humble pedal cart selling delicious handmade Italian ice cream and then went on to have his own business in fish and chips.

The other, Giuseppe Piacentini, fondly known as Joe, joined his own dad in the family business at the Station Restaurant in Saltcoats and went on to expand throughout Ayrshire, Barrhead, Johnstone and Paisley.

It was Joe’s great knowledge that was passed down to his son- in-law Peter Edge who in turn went into business with his wife’s sister when they bought The Victoria Cafe also known as Black Mamma’s. Through his very hard work and expert frying skills Peter made Mamma’s one of the best and most famous fish and chip shops in the west coast of Scotland. Peter in turn, passed down all his knowledge to Marco carrying on the legacy to date.

Marco's father named his 2nd shop after his son, Marco. Now Marco has named his 2nd shop after his son, Enzo.
